~Lore~

Cryptid was born in Point Pleasant, West Virgina (rather, in an inter-dimensional pocket in the vicinity of Point Pleasant) in the early 1700s. Like others of his species, Cryptid learned how to harness the power of shape-shifting to a more humanoid form over the course of his adolescence and eventually learned how to traverse over into the human dimension.

Cryptid mostly began to take short trips into the human dimension over the course of the 1900s, though he never stayed long. At least until the mid-1980s when Cryptid first discovered the flashy allure of arcades (and the dark allure of goth music and fashion.) Though he didn't actually learn how to play the arcade games until the early 1990s. The bright lights and sounds had him too mesmerized to do much more than stare at the machines until he adapted to them.

From then on, Cryptid became hooked and decided to stay in the human dimension for good. Eventually he moved over to the west-coast of the United States to an area with a more temperate climate. However, he still lives in a cozy forest cave (that somehow has electricity and an internet connection, don't question it) and he is good friends with many of the local cryptids.

He dons his human form in order to fit in when around the human masses, but still prefers his more 'monstrous' form in the comfort of his own home. Due to his fascination with video games and his love of sharing them with others, he eventually decided to become what the humans call 'a streamer'. Though he still tends to be socially awkward and bad at games, he has a fun time hanging out with humans and showing them his favorite games or sharing the experience of playing ones he's never tried. Someday he even wishes to bring the things he loves back to his home dimension for his moth-family to enjoy.

About The Webmaster

If you want to know a few things about the person behind the site and the VTuber, well here you go!

My VTuber and I have a few things in common.

I'm trans-masc and nonbinary, and my pronouns are he/they. (I am pre-medical transition but I do hope to go through with that someday.)

(Like my VTuber, I also have a mohawk!)

Although I am... admittedly, not 300+ years old. I'm only in my 30s. (And I'm not 7'0", even if I wish I was...)

Enough of stating the probably obvious differences between my VTuber and I... Let's get back to the "about me" stuff!

I also have a passion for video games, as well as art and writing.

I've been feeling stagnant in my creative pursuits for a while, and I wanted to try my hand at making a website for my entertainer side.

Although I've also been wanting to branch out into making RPG Maker horror games. I figured it'd be good to know how to make websites for those, as well. (To have nicely formatted guides and such)

Beyond all that, though... I've also been using the internet since the late 1990s and I was always in love with people's creativity with the websites I came across, so I figured it was high time to make a website for myself!

About The Website

As stated in the "About Webmaster" section, I've been wanting to make a website for a long time.

The purpose of this site is to not only give my VTuber their very own official page, but also to give me a way to work on something that artistic in a way that I'm not used to.

Plus, it just so happens to be my escape from social media, which I have been frustrated with for many years now.

I have been using the internet for a pretty long time now, and I really fell in love with the idea of websites and web-development when I stumbled upon Fansites (and shrines/webcomic sites) all those years ago. But I had never thought I had the skill to make my own. And I didn't, but I have a lot more patience these days so I sat down and learned to make a website.

So, I figured that my first website could be dedicated to my VTuber persona!

It's probably not the most professional website for them, but it is very close to how I want it to be. Especially since I've made all the assets myself.

As I am learning, however, this site will probably be revamped at some point... but until then, please enjoy my amateur coding skills along with the kinda goofy assets that make up this site.
